LIHOVAR Visitor, Ticketing, Photography & Filming Terms

These Terms apply to visitors entering and using the publicly accessible areas of LIHOVAR and, where applicable, to tickets purchased for paid attractions, exhibitions, experiences and events at LIHOVAR, including the LIHOVAR Gallery and the Chimney experience.

By entering LIHOVAR, attending an event or activity, or purchasing, holding or using a ticket, visitors agree to comply with these Terms and with any additional conditions, safety requirements or visitor instructions applicable to the relevant attraction, event or venue.

The wider LIHOVAR site, including its publicly accessible areas and food hall, may be visited without a ticket unless otherwise stated.

1. General

LIHOVAR is a privately owned mixed-use development with areas accessible to the public.

Access to individual restaurants, shops, galleries, cultural venues, residential buildings and other premises within LIHOVAR may be subject to separate opening hours, house rules and terms established by their respective operators.

LIHOVAR reserves the right to restrict access to all or part of the development where reasonably necessary for operational, safety, security, maintenance or event-related reasons.

2. Tickets and Admission

A valid ticket is required for admission to ticketed attractions, exhibitions, experiences and events.

Tickets are valid only for the attraction, date, time and number of visitors stated on the booking confirmation or ticket.

Where timed admission applies, visitors should arrive sufficiently in advance of their allocated time slot. Admission after the booked time cannot be guaranteed and may be subject to availability and operational requirements.

Tickets may be issued electronically or in another format specified at the time of booking. Visitors may be required to present the ticket or booking confirmation before entry.

LIHOVAR reserves the right to verify eligibility for any reduced, concessionary or age-restricted ticket.

3. Ticket Purchases

Visitors are responsible for ensuring that all booking details are correct before completing a purchase.

Ticket prices, applicable fees and any specific conditions will be stated at the time of booking.

Tickets may not be resold for commercial gain or used as part of an unauthorised promotion, competition, package or other commercial activity without prior written permission.

Tickets purchased from unauthorised third parties may be refused.

4. Changes, Cancellations and Refunds

Except where otherwise stated at the time of purchase or required by applicable law, tickets are non-refundable once purchased.

Where possible, LIHOVAR may permit a booking to be changed to another available date or time. Any such change is subject to availability and the conditions applicable to the relevant attraction or event.

LIHOVAR may cancel, suspend, delay or alter an attraction, exhibition, experience or event where reasonably necessary due to:

— safety or security concerns;
— technical failure;
— adverse weather conditions;
— maintenance or operational requirements;
— circumstances beyond reasonable control; or
— any other situation in which continuing operation would not be appropriate.

Where a ticketed attraction or event is cancelled in its entirety by LIHOVAR, visitors will be informed of the available options, which may include an alternative date or refund of the affected ticket price in accordance with applicable law.

LIHOVAR is not responsible for travel, accommodation or other ancillary costs incurred in connection with a visit, except where liability cannot legally be excluded.

5. Chimney Experience

Admission to the Chimney experience is subject to additional safety and operational requirements.

Access may be limited by:

— maximum visitor capacity;
— age or height restrictions;
— mobility or accessibility considerations;
— technical or maintenance requirements;
— weather conditions;
— emergency procedures; or
— other safety considerations.

Children must be accompanied by a responsible adult where required by the applicable admission rules.

Visitors must follow all instructions given by LIHOVAR staff and must remain within designated visitor areas and routes.

LIHOVAR may temporarily suspend or restrict access to the Chimney where conditions make operation unsafe or unsuitable.

Visitors who are uncertain whether the experience is appropriate for them due to mobility, health or accessibility requirements are encouraged to contact LIHOVAR before booking.

6. Gallery and Exhibitions

Visitors to the LIHOVAR Gallery must respect the artworks, exhibits, installations and exhibition environment.

Unless expressly permitted, visitors must not:

— touch artworks, exhibits or installations;
— cross barriers or enter restricted areas;
— bring food or drink into exhibition areas;
— behave in a way that may damage exhibits or disturb other visitors.

Additional rules may apply to individual exhibitions and will be communicated where relevant.

7. Visitor Conduct

Visitors are expected to behave responsibly and with consideration for other visitors, residents, tenants, businesses and LIHOVAR staff.

LIHOVAR reserves the right to refuse admission or require a visitor to leave where their behaviour:

— presents a safety or security risk;
— is threatening, abusive, disruptive or antisocial;
— causes damage or unreasonable disturbance;
— interferes with the operation of an attraction, event or business;
— breaches applicable law or these Terms; or
— fails to comply with reasonable instructions from authorised staff.

No refund will normally be provided where admission is refused or a visitor is removed due to their own conduct.

Access to residential buildings, private terraces, back-of-house areas, construction areas, technical facilities and other non-public spaces is restricted to authorised persons.

Climbing on buildings, artworks, structures, barriers, street furniture or other installations is not permitted unless expressly designated for such use.

8. Safety and Security

Visitors must comply with all safety notices, emergency procedures and instructions given by LIHOVAR staff, security personnel or emergency services.

Security checks may be carried out where reasonably required.

Visitors may be refused entry if they decline a required security check or attempt to bring prohibited or potentially dangerous items into a ticketed area.

Prohibited items may include:

— weapons or objects capable of causing injury;
— fireworks, flares or pyrotechnic devices;
— hazardous or flammable substances;
— items that may damage property or exhibits; and
— any other item considered inappropriate for safety or security reasons.

9. Personal Belongings

Visitors remain responsible for their personal belongings throughout their visit.

Where cloakrooms, lockers or storage facilities are provided, their use may be subject to separate conditions.

LIHOVAR accepts responsibility for loss or damage only to the extent required by applicable law.

10. Photography and Filming by LIHOVAR

Photography and filming regularly take place across LIHOVAR to capture events, activities and the life of the district.

Images and video footage captured by or on behalf of LIHOVAR may be used for communications and marketing purposes, including but not limited to social media, websites, email marketing, digital and print advertising, on-site communications, brochures and other promotional materials.

LIHOVAR aims to photograph visitors respectfully and seeks to avoid using images of individuals who object to being photographed.

Particular care is taken when photographing children, and photographers acting on behalf of LIHOVAR will seek parental or guardian permission where appropriate and reasonably possible.

Where photography or filming is taking place as part of an organised production, event or campaign, additional notices or signage may be displayed on site where appropriate.

11. Photography and Filming by Visitors

Visitors are welcome to take photographs and videos in publicly accessible areas of LIHOVAR for personal, non-commercial use, unless otherwise indicated.

As LIHOVAR is private property with public access, professional, editorial, commercial or organised photography and filming requires prior permission from LIHOVAR.

This includes, without limitation:

— commercial and advertising shoots;
— brand campaigns and product photography;
— professional property or architectural photography;
— editorial or media productions;
— organised fashion or lifestyle shoots;
— influencer or content production undertaken for commercial purposes; and
— any photography or filming involving substantial professional equipment, crews or production setups.

Visitors are expected to respect the privacy and dignity of residents, tenants, businesses, staff and other visitors when taking photographs or videos.

Photography into private residential areas, private terraces, non-public interiors or other spaces where a reasonable expectation of privacy exists is not permitted.

Photography or filming may be restricted within specific exhibitions, events, installations or areas.

From time to time, photography or filming may also be temporarily restricted for operational, security, privacy or event-related reasons. Where applicable, restrictions will be communicated on site.

For press enquiries, professional photography, commercial shoots or filming requests, please contact LIHOVAR in advance.

12. Changes to the Visitor Experience

The content, layout, artworks, installations, views, routes, opening hours and other elements of an attraction may change from time to time.

Temporary closure of individual areas or temporary unavailability of a particular exhibit, installation or feature does not automatically entitle a visitor to a refund where the principal attraction remains open and reasonably accessible.

13. Accessibility

LIHOVAR aims to make its attractions accessible to as many visitors as reasonably possible.

Due to the physical characteristics of certain historic, industrial or technical structures, some areas may have specific accessibility limitations.

Visitors with particular accessibility requirements are encouraged to contact LIHOVAR before purchasing tickets so that current access arrangements can be confirmed.

14. Events Operated by Third Parties

Certain events, exhibitions, experiences or activities at LIHOVAR may be organised or operated by third parties.

Additional terms and conditions may apply to such events. Where applicable, these will be communicated during the booking process or before admission.

15. Liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.

Visitors are responsible for following all safety instructions and for taking reasonable care for their own safety and the safety of others.

LIHOVAR is not responsible for loss or damage arising from a visitor's failure to comply with these Terms, applicable instructions or reasonable safety precautions, except where otherwise required by law.

16. Changes to These Terms

LIHOVAR may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in its attractions, operations, legal requirements or visitor policies.

The version applicable to a ticket purchase will be the version published or otherwise made available at the relevant time.

17. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Czech Republic.

Any mandatory rights available to consumers under applicable Czech or European Union law remain unaffected.

18. Contact

For questions concerning tickets, accessibility, group visits, press enquiries, professional photography, commercial shoots, filming or other visitor arrangements, please contact LIHOVAR.
